Guess what: You finally have a reason to make some headway on your New Year’s resolution to learn a new language this year. Michel Gondry, the director of such sob-tastic tales as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and The Science of Sleep is releasing a gorgeous new film (en Francais) this spring.
Starring Audrey Tatou (the original Manic Pixie Dream Girl a la Amelie) and Romain Duris (my future husband/France’s answer to Benedict Cumberbatch/the only redeeming quality about Le Divorce), Mood Indigo is a love story about a young, fantastically rich inventor whose wife becomes sick- and the only thing that helps is being surrounded by flowers.
Sounds like the perfect film for spring. Sigh.
