Michelle Visage Reads “Drag Race” Royalty With Original Song, “Poor Unfortunate Queens”

She already done had herses!

Michelle Visage put her pipes to good use when the RuPaul’s Drag Race Battle of the Seasons Tour stopped near Detroit on Saturday, singing her shady version of a Little Mermaid classic while reading a handful of Drag Race favorites in front of a live crowd.

Michelle sings a version of “Poor Unfortunate Queens” at the top of every show, though the high-brow insults change based on which queens surround her, since the cast tends to rotate in each city.

Michelle, as you know, is a former member of the early ’90s girl group Seduction. She’s been stepping back into the spotlight with the mic all tour long and, last month at the New York stop, even covered her idol Madonna with a touching rendition of “Take A Bow.”
