Mike Pence's Neighbors Troll Him With Rainbow Flags

“A respectful message showing, in my case, my disagreement with some of his thinking.”

Vice President-elect Mike Pence's new neighborhood has a little more color these days.

On the Washington, D.C. street where Pence is currently renting a house his neighbors began hanging rainbow flags to show their disagreement with his policies regarding the LGBT community.

“A respectful message showing, in my case, my disagreement with some of his thinking,” said neighbor Ilse Heintzen.

According to local news station WJLA, "Heintzen has gay and lesbian friends, so when one neighbor suggested ordering a pride flag, she and others asked for their own."

“I have no idea what [the Vice-President elect] will think about, but I hope he will change his mind,” she added.

Pence’s block now has at least six rainbow Pride flags hanging with “more on the way” reports WJLA's Tim Barber.

When he's in D.C. Pence will be staying in the house until he moves into the Vice President's mansion next year.
