Miley Cyrus has at least one male Smiler super-fan: Matt Peterson of Phoenix, Arizona, made a YouTube video asking the "Adore You" singer to go to prom with him. And he thought getting naked except for a giant foam finger was the best way to get her attention. (At least he didn't swing on a wrecking ball.)

Peterson writes:

Miley, I have been a fan of yours from the beginning. You've changed my life, and I want to repay you by giving you the best night of your life. In order to do that, allow me to take you to my Prom on May 3, 2014. I promise you, we will have a great time.. and after our first encounter, I won't cry on your dress. I hope you will tell me yes when I'm sitting with roses in the 6th row at your BANGERZ tour in Phoenix on Febuary 27th!

Apparently, the two met a few years ago and Matt has never forgotten it—although he has seriously improved his game. He's not even crying this time!

We're torn: On the one hand he's a cute kid and we'd love to see his dream come true. On the other, it's a little Stan to fixate on a random encounter from several years ago. Coming off a little thirsty, bro.
