RuPaul's Drag Race icon Mimi Imfurst is working hard on her debut solo album titled FIRE, and for the first time ever this week, opened up to fans about what to expect when it drops (hopefully) later this year.

Dishing the deets in a Facebook post as she finished writing the album's final song, Mimi says she won't be doing a "half-ass" job with any aspect of the new album. It will leave her totally "vulnerable" as she opens up about some "really personal sh*t."

Mimi writes:

On Indiegogo, Mimi describes the "rock & roll" album as "loud and in your face." She's asking for $10,000 for help with producing the unique new venture.

"I named this album THE FIRE because of the experiences I've been through," she said. "I lessons I've learned about not retreating from fear, to turn those negative energies into fuel to propel yourself from a safe place into a place unknown. To turn your burnt battle wounds into badges of honor and to be reborn, much like a phoenix."

She continued: "I dedicate this album to all of you who have stuck by me and believed in me when it otherwise was a dark work. You are THE FIRE that shined a light when it was otherwise dark. I am beyond thankful."
