There will be at least one extra slice of cake at a birthday party for a young Long Island girl with two gay dads: "Beth," a mother in Baldwin, New York, responded to an invitation to the 7th birthday party of "Sophia" with an attack on the little girl's family.

"Tommy will NOT attend. I do not beleive [sic] in what you do and will not subject my innocent son to your 'lifestyle,' wrote this Mother of the Year candidate. "I'm sorry Sophia has to grow up this way."

The dads sent pics of the invitation in to Steve and Leeana, morning DJs at radio station K98.3, who posted it on thei station's Facebook page. According to the station, Beth gave permission for her telephone number to be printed and is encouraging anyone with a problem with what she did to call her.
