Mr. Gay Hong Kong Emmanuel Mass Luciano Crowned Mr. Gay World
Mr. Gay Hong Kong, Emmanuel Mass Luciano, has just been crowned Mr. Gay World, replacing the original winner, Klaus Burkart.
Germany's Burkart won the title back in May, but wrote an open letter to fans last week to share that he would be stepping down.
“Indeed it is very challenging and exciting winning the title, but what is more challenging is living up to the expectations, responsibilities and duties that come along with it,” Burkart wrote.
Luciano was runner-up in the competition, and Burkart told fans that the Hong Kong contestant will carry the title well.
“I know he will be a great representative for our community, who will put all his heart and passion into his reign,” said Burkart.
Luciano will be the first man from Asia to ever hold the title.
