Matt Morris is still climbing upwards on his quest towards world domination. His duet with Justin Timberlake’s on Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” at the Hope for Haiti Now telethon last month is now #13 on Billboad’s Hot 100 Singles chart. And last Thursday he performed his tune “Love” to screaming mobs on Lopez Tonight (see above!), and today he’s got a gig in Kentucky with Brandi Carlile. He’s everywhere…

I love it when good things happen to nice people. Need more Matt? Head to his Matt’s great Week in Review posts on Tumblr to watch him perform at the Gibson (as in guitars) Music Showcase. It’s sooooo nice!
You can also follow Matt on Twitter at @MattMorris, and if you’re in Denver (Matt’s hometown) you can catch him at the Bluebird Theater on February 25th. Go Matt, go!
After the jump, watch Matt perform his tune “The Un-American.” So good.

So, after Taylor Swift’s not so stellar performance onstage at the Grammys this past Sunday (her rendering of “Rhiannon” alongside her idol Stevie Nicks sounded pretty awful; flat, pitchy, bad…), her record label boss, Scott Borchetto, went public with a diatribe in her defense. His position, as stated, was that ““This is not American Idol. This is not a competition of getting up and seeing who can sing the highest note. This is about a true artist and writer and communicator. It’s not about that technically perfect performance.”
Blah, blah, blah… Tell it to Kelly Clarkson, Idol’s first champ and the queen of nailing high notes, medium-notes, just about any note. So, Clarkson fired back! She’s not amused. Read her “Oh, snap!” response after the jump!
Ayyy! It was a D-List moment in heaven when Kathy Griffin and Snooki collided on the red carpet last at the Grammy Awards. They share about their mutual love of sparkles, Snooki’s disdain for Bump-Its, and how they both want Snooks to find a good man.
But isn’t there more? I want more!
Oh well… For more with Snooks and other celebs (Fergie, Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus) go to MTV News!

Attention Lady Gaga fanantics! Your time has come. This Friday a big event called “The Love Fame” is being billed as “New York City’s First Annual LADY GAGA Look-A-Like Contest!”
Not sure if this an officially Gaga-sanctioned event… There’s no mention of it on LadyGaga.com. But it’s bound to be a sassy Monster-tastic freakfest!!!
And where to begin in choosing a Gaga look to emulate?
