200 Nude Models Are Coming To Times Square To Celebrate Acceptance

Body Notes will feature people painting their feelings on their bodies.

Over 200 fully-naked models will be taking over Times Square next month for a body-painting event put on by the non-profit Human Connection Arts.

Dubbed Body Notes, the project will feature models of all genders, shapes and sizes painted for three hours in full public view before taking part in a giant photo shoot. Each participant will also sport a personal message on their front and back as a way to express how they feel about themselves and their bodies.

The theme of Body Notes is “Human Connection,” and was designed to create a powerful environment that celebrates expression and acceptance.

Creator Andy Golub says the project was inspired by Subway Therapy, the sticky-note wall that was created at the Union Square subway station after the election.

Body Notes will take place on June 9 from 12pm-4pm and you can get more info on the event here.
