It’s Paris Fashion Week friends, and that means seven days of stunning clothes, gorgeous models, frowning editors and, without fail, a group of super annoying naked protestors.
Can’t these people get a new schtick?
This time around it was not the anti-fur fanatics, but instead activists from the Ukranian feminist group Femen who struck the Nina Ricci show, topless of course, to protest over-sexualization in the fashion industry. Just to reiterate, to protest over-sexualization, these ladies stormed the runway at the Nina Ricci show, a show that may be the most demure of not only Paris Fashion Week, but all the shows of all the fashion weeks in all the world.
So well done girls, lord knows we would hate to see some poor unfortunate thing being over-sexualized in one of Peter Copping’s cream pleat-front silk dresses or cotton voile Victoriana shirt dresses.
What a bunch of flops.
