Aside from discovering which queens will be competing for the crown, one of the best things about RuPaul’s Drag Race is finding out which celebrities will be critiquing the queens from behind the judges’ table with Michelle Visage and Ru.
There have been major guest judges in the past like Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande, but this year Drag Race is getting political. VH1 has announced that House of Representatives Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi will join Ru and Michelle Visage as a special guest judge on the upcoming season of All Stars.

This might come as a surprise, but judging from some of her press conferences we think Pelosi would be especially good at a reading challenge—and she should be able to keep up with Ru and Michelle’s witty critiques of the queens.

In addition to Pelosi, other celebrities like Tituss Burgess, Kristin Chenoweth, Emma Bunton, Vanessa Williams and Marc Jacobs will join the judges panel for the first time.
Ross Mathews and Carson Kressley will also be on-hand as recurring panelists and there will be other repeat offenders from previous seasons including Chris Colfer, Adam Lambert, Vanessa Hudgens, Todrick Hall and Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman.
The big mystery guest judge on Season 9 was Lady Gaga, so is there another big name being kept under wraps for All Stars Season 3? We will have to wait and see when the new season premieres next week.
Since Ru and Oprah looked like they were getting along so well during their SuperSoul Conversation for O Magazine, we’re crossing our fingers for Oprah to sit behind the judges table on an upcoming season.
Or as long as Drag Race is getting political, maybe Michelle Obama or Hillary Clinton?
RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 3 premieres Thursday, January 25 at 8/7c on VH1.
