In a new trailer for Nashville's upcoming fifth season we finally get a first glimpse at what's in store for the gang as the country music soap makes its move to CMT.

A lot of drama is packed into the 30-second teaser including Juliette's terrifying plane crash, Gunnar and Scarlett's relationship pains and gay country singer, Will Lexington getting tempted by Jakob—a new character played by Looking's Murray Bartlett.

Never change, Nashville.

Aside from the addition of Bartlett, the series is also adding a transgender character played by trans actress Jen Richards.
