NBA Releases First Line Of Pride Shirts For All 30 Teams
The NBA has partnered up with the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) to create a limited edition line of LGBT Pride shirts.
Each shirt features a different NBA team's logo done up in rainbow colors and set on a black background. The shirts will be available for two weeks with all proceeds going straight to the GLSEN, which seeks to create safe spaces in schools for LGBT students.

“For LGBT fans and players alike, visibility and inclusion in the family of sports remains a key goal," said GLSEN Executive Director Dr. Eliza Byard of the collaboration between the two organizations.
"The entire GLSEN family is proud of our longstanding partnership with the NBA, and excited about all of the work we are doing together to make K-12 physical education and athletics...more inclusive and welcoming of LGBT students.”
This marks the first time in history that an entire pro sports league has celebrated Pride by giving all its teams the rainbow treatment. In the past, the NHL and NFL have created Pride shirts, but only for a select number of teams or players.
