“What’s fun about it is, being an actor, I get to play a new character in each book or in each two episodes of the show,” Harris told Entertainment Tonight. “What’s doubly fun about it is that I’m actually playing Olaf playing a character, which has been a bit confusing mentally if I’m being honest.”

Not only do viewers get to see Harris in a variety of costumes, but the trailer also has cameos from Alfre Woodard, Catherine O'Hara and Joan Cusack!

Based on the internationally best-selling series of books by Lemony Snicket (aka Daniel Handler) and starring Emmy and Tony Award winner Neil Patrick Harris, A Series of Unfortunate Events recounts the tragic tale of the Baudelaire orphans — Violet, Klaus, and Sunny – whose evil guardian Count Olaf will stop at nothing to get his hands on their inheritance. The siblings must outsmart Olaf at every turn, foiling his many devious plans and disguises, in order to discover clues to their parents’ mysterious death.

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events premieres January 13, 2017 on Netflix.
