Nene Leakes Gives Very Interesting Performance As Matron "Mama" Morton From "Chicago"

The "Housewives" star will bring her act to the Broadway stage beginning November 23.

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes celebrated her return to the Broadway stage with an appearance on The View this week, and teased a musical moment from one of her biggest solo numbers from her upcoming stint in Chicago.

Leakes will play Matron "Mama" Morton on Broadway beginning November 23, so when asked to display her musical prowess, the reality queen naturally chose the epic final lines of "When You're Good To Mama."

And her take is pretty, uh, unique:

Leakes slammed The View cohosts after her appearance for acting like "a bunch of mean girls."

“Just sat down with a bunch of mean girls turning up their noses, looking u up & down as if u don’t belong,” she tweeted and later deleted. Us notes the criticism probably referenced the ladies' attitude toward her jewelry and the fact that they discussed Leakes' personal life and divorce, not their reaction to her singing.
