Dolly Parton Makes Trixie Mattel Nervous In New Netflix Pride Preview

Legends only!

It might be the last day of Pride Month, but there's still more fun to be had before the book closes on Pride 2020.

Netflix's LGBTQ vertical, The Most, will host a Pride digital event today, June 30, at 7pm ET/ 4pm PT, and the streaming giant has released a new preview for the star-studded celebration.

Netflix describes the Pride party as "digitally programmed moments of reflection, moments to celebrate queer artists and performers, and dialogue to inspire change and action." It will also—naturally—feature tons of queer Netflix talent including famous faces like Laverne Cox, Janet Mock, the Queer Eye Fab Five, Hannah Gadsby, Tituss Burgess, Ryan O'Connell, Wilson Cruz, and many others.

And did we forget to mention that Chaka Khan will be closing out the soiree with a special performance?

Trixie Mattel and Katya, stars of the Netflix digital series, I Like to Watch, will also be making an appearance, and judging from the new preview it looks as if Trixie will be singing a song for the queen of country, Dolly Parton.

"Apparently we are doing this for Dolly Parton now, so the stakes are a little bit higher," Trixie says in the clip. Remember to always perform as if Dolly is watching.

And speaking of RuPaul's Drag Race stars, keep your eyes peeled in the trailer because it looks like Drag Race Season 12 top three queen Gigi Goode will be treating us to a drag recreation of the "You Don't Own Me" number from The First Wives Club. We stan.

Not only will Netflix Pride be a fun time, but it will also be a kiki with a good cause. The event is in support of OutRight, Trans Justice Funding Project, and the Marsha P Johnson Foundation.

Netflix Pride will be broadcast simultaneously through Netflix’s YouTube, plus The Most on IGTV and Tik Tok on June 30 at 7pm ET/ 4pm PT. Until then, check out the preview below.
