"Dragon Age: Inquisition" Banned For Gay Content, New Doc Implicates Bryan Singer: Today In Gay

An Open Secret, a new documentary from Amy Berg, debuted at Doc NYC this weekend and is shopping for distribution—the film details the sexual exploitation of minors by Hollywood insiders, including allegations against X-Men director Bryan Singer and Marc Collins-Rector, an entertainment exec known for throwing parties filled with underage men.

"An Open Secret suggests that there were decidedly illegal guys who were being preyed upon. Guys who were 14, 15, 16, 17," reports Gawker. "We see footage of a young Ben Savage being greeted by Collins-Rector at his home. Collins-Rector's embrace drops so that he can grope Savage's ass."

Daniel and Scott Wall-Desousa were legally wed in New York and changed all federal, professional, and state documents to reflect the hyphenation of their names.

The state of Florida, which does not recognize marriage equality, even issued the guys new licenses—the first time it had recognized an out-of-state same-sex marriage license for a name change.

But now the DMV has notified them that they would expire in seven days. Scott told WFTV he received a letter that "informs me and notifies me that my driving privileges will be canceled indefinitely as of Nov. 22."

[Feinberg's] historical and theoretical writing has been widely anthologized and taught in the U.S. and international academic circles. Her impact on mass culture was primarily through her 1993 first novel, Stone Butch Blues, widely considered in and outside the U.S. as a groundbreaking work about the complexities of gender.

Feinberg, who preferred the use of "ze/hir" pronouns, described hirself as a "white, working class, secular Jewish, transgender lesbian."

Dorian

The highly anticipated Dragon Age: Inquisition will include the series first fully gay character, but gamers in India won't get a chance to play it—Rather than upset conservatives in the country, which recently re-criminalized homosexuality, EA won't be releasing the game there.

Dragon Age II  allowed characters to start relationships with either men or women, but NDTV reports Inquisition has gone a step further.

It sports the series' first fully gay character, Dorian, that players have the option to romance. Bioware has gone with more options in terms of romances for Inquisition. There are straight, bisexual, and gay character romances because they each tell different stories.

"Dorian is the first fully gay character I've had the opportunity to write," said developer David Gaider in a recent interview. "It added an interesting dimension to his back story, considering he comes from a place where 'perfection' is the face that every mage puts on and anything that smacks of deviancy is shameful... I suppose this aspect of Dorian will make him controversial in some corners, but I was glad to include it."

Gaider says he hopes Dorian's sexuality and backstory "will make him seem like a fully realized character to fans."
