New Interpol Video: "There's No I In Threesome!"

null

Yeah, it's all about taking one for the team, isn't it? If you think, because of the pretty hilarious title, that this new single by Interpol is going to have some humor in it - think again. But that's fine; it's still a cool song. In "No I in Threesome," from Interpol's third album, Our Love to Admire, lead singer Paul Banks tries to get his girl to "give something new a try."

But other than that, the song's lyrics follow Interpol's usual...esoteric lyrics.

Interpol came on the music scene in New York as part of the indie-punk revamping of the 2000s (the original band was all made up of NYU students). Critics ate up their 2002 debut, Turn on the Bright Lights, which made it to the NME Top 10 of that year.

The band released sophomore Antics in 2004 and their latest, the first on a major label, Capitol Records, earlier this year.
