New "Will & Grace" Preview Is Raining Guest Stars and Plotlines

A Bomer, a Schwimmer, and a Baldwin walk onto a classic TV film set...

Do you hear that? It's the sound of raucous laughter as four professionals schtick it up in the new season of Will & Grace.

As far as reboots go, Will & Grace is one of the best, but as Will Truman, aka, Eric McCormack puts it in a preview of the second season (courtesy of Entertainment Tonight), the theme for last year was "the more things change the more things stay the same"—we were reintroduced to some old fiends and almost immediately fell back into a familiar groove. But this year they're shaking things up.

Karen (Emmy-nominee Megan Mullally), for one, is getting a divorce from her porcine paramour, Stan, while Jack (Sean Hayes) is getting married to his new beau, Estefan.

Much like her real-life counterpart, Debra Messing, Grace is getting into politics, though no word if her character will also have an epic Twitter battle with Susan Sarandon. But how awesome would that be? As for Will, there's a beard happening that I'm personally fond of, and he's following a new career trajectory: teacher. #DaddyLessons

This season will also be chock full of guest stars, from fresh faces like Matt Bomer and David Schwimmer, to returning faves like Minnie Driver and Alec Baldwin, who's already on the business end of a trademark Karen Walker bitch-slap.

Mmm, feels like home. Check out the preview below ahead of the October 4 premiere on NBC:
