RuPaul sent shockwaves through the crowd at L.A.'s DragCon last month when he announced that the biggest drag queen convention in the world would be heading to New York later this year.

Although the original dates that were announced for the event had to be rescheduled, Mama Ru took to Twitter this week to reveal that New York's DragCon will now take place September 9 and 10 at the Jacob K Javits Convention Center.

This will be the first time the annual event heads to the East Coast, and will feature all the celebrity panels, miles of merch and opportunities to meet your favorite Drag Race queens that have made the L.A. version of RuPaul's DragCon such a huge success.
