London-based electronic singer/songwriter Bright Light Bright Light first started gaining attention with his emotional singles Love Part II and Disco Moment and their pairing of sometimes wrenchingly emotional lyrics with club-ready beats.
Since then, he’s been hard at work on his debut album coming out this spring. Having heard the entire album this Monday at Cake Shop I can tell you that its pretty good. If you’re a fan of those first two singles, you won’t be disappointed. Tons of great, catchy pop melodies.
If you can’t wait a few months for its release, however, check out his recently released EP Blueprints 1 which contains stripped down versions of songs from the upcoming album.
