The NFL Scouting Combine is going down this week which, for those who are unaware, is a week-long showcase where college players show off their physical prowess and playing smarts to managers, scouts and coaches in the NFL. It is invite only and player performance ultimately determines when, and if, they will be drafted later in the year.

As long as they’re not gay it seems.

Following rumors that Manti T’eo is gay because he was catfished by another man, every player is now being asked whether or not they are gay. In the most obvious way ever.

Prospect Nick Kasa told ESPN Radio Denver, “[Teams] ask you, like, ‘Do you have a girlfriend?’ Are you married?’ Do you like girls?’ Those kinds of things, and you know it was just kind of weird. But they would ask you with a straight face, and it’s a pretty weird experience altogether.”

Maybe they’re just all trying to ask these young, virile players on a date, to be fair.

So just remember gay youngsters, you can be anything you want when you grow up — except a NFL player.

Oh, and let’s all get ready for a bullshit statement later when the NFL claims they had no idea at all anyone was asking these questions.
