Nicole Kidman Gets Her Princess On In "Grace Of Monaco" Trailer: WATCH

Nicole Kidman is getting royal for her next role, and hoping to pick up an Oscar for doing so, playing Grace Kelly in the upcoming Grace of Monaco, the story of the Philadelphia born actress who left Hollywood in 1956 to marry Prince Ranier III of Moanco and held the title of Princess Consort of Monaco until her death in 1982. Known for her style, and jewels, Kelly has long been considered one of the most iconic women of the twentieth century.

The film, directed by Olivier Dahan, the same man who got Marion Cottilard an Oscar for her performance in La Vie en Rose, will hit theaters in November, and also stars Tim Roth, Frank Langella and Parker Posey.

Take a look at the first trailer above, which gives us a few brief peeks at Kidman and one very long monologue about Kelly's legacy, courtesy of Langella. Then, out of nowhere, a bike comes and sends her crashing to the ground.

Too soon?
