North Dakota Politician Who Voted Against Gay Rights Bill Caught Sending Penis Pics On Grindr

North Dakota state representative Randy Boehning has got some 'splaining to do: The Republican lawmaker, who recently voted against an LGBT anti-discrimination bill, was caught sending nude photos to another man on Grindr.

Dustin Smith, a 21-year-old Bismarck man with no known political connection, contacted InForum and said he recognized Boehning from the popular hookup app. "Chatting under the user name Top Man!, Boehning sent Smith sexually suggestive messages," the site reports, "and, in the early morning hours of March 12, an unsolicited photo of his penis."

Smith, who is openly gay, was incredulous that an anti-gay pol would use a gay app like Grindr. "How can you discriminate against the person you're trying to pick up?" he asked.

Though he initially denied being "Top Man!" he's since confirmed he sent the full-frontal pic: "That's what gay guys do on gay sites, don't they?" he asked. "That's how things happen on Grindr."

Boehning, who claims to be bisexual, says he's relieved that the "1,000-pound gorilla has been lifted" and that friends and family who did not know about his sexuality are now aware.

And they're aware what a hypocrite you are, too.
