NYC Turns Up And Turns Out For 2015 Pride Parade

New Yorkers  were treated to a fabulous Pride on Sunday, and NewNowNext was there to capture all the fun.

From Sir Ian McKellen's fierce grand-marshaling to Pearl's straddling the Logo float, the iffy weather didn't dampen any of the marcher's spirits. Drum lines kept drumming, celebs kept rolling—we saw you, Countess Luann!—and the floats kept floating from midtown to the West Village.

And with the Supreme Court's landmark marriage equality decision on Friday, the LGBT community and our allies had more reason than ever to be loud, proud, and fabulous!

Check out highlights from the NYC Pride March below.

Pearl spent a solid portion of the parade straddling the side of Logo's Proud to Be Different float, repping her new album Pleasure and giving fans a healthy dose of flazéda realness!

Oh, and did we mention that Kandy Ho was also on hand to turn the party? While Pearl was busy waving to her adoring fans, Miss Ho werked the front of the float, lip synching for. Her. Life!

Rainbow Stilt-Walker, going rogue! And you thought your legs were tired...

Logo marchers repped their Proud to Be Different shirts with panache and style! In the words of Mama Ru: "If you can't love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love somebody else?"

Yaassssssss queen! This kid was giving us all kinds of voguing goodness while leading the way for the PFLAG contingent. And that outfit? To die for.

As if the celebration wasn't emotional enough, Erik Sudduth got down on one knee and proposed to Sam Branman smack dab in the middle of the festivities. He said yes! Love wins, y'all.

The most beautiful part of the day? Every single one of the diverse, excited, rainbow-loving people in the crowds. Your voice may be gone today, honey, but it rang out loud, proud, and clear yesterday.
