NY Fashion Week: Richard Chai Puts Soft Geometrics, Miles McMillan On The Runway

One of the first big shows of New York Fashion Week was Richard Chai’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection, which not only marked the debut of a collaboration between Chai and leather-good brand Andrew Marc, but also brought out the handsome, new fab five of the Jonas Brothers, Colton Haynes and Zachary Quinto. (#drool.)

Back to the clothes: Chai’s collection was inspired from soft geometric shapes and, for the menswear, that translated into to seersucker blazers, plaid and pleated shorts, oversized trousers and striped tops.

There was a strong use of the essential black, white and blues, but the mustardy cognac on a several looks stood out—the tone is totally perfect for right now. (And who couldn’t use a new leather jacket this fall?) The detailing on the Andrew Marc x Richard Chai qulited leather cargo jacket (above) in particular shined when paired with slate blue pleated shorts.

See the rest of the men’s collection below, including Zachary Quinto’s rumored beau, Miles McMillan (below) in a white poplin shirt, black seersucker blazer and pleated trousers:
