Everyone knows that gay people don’t have spouses, children, or values. But did you know that President Barack Obama is trying to “force gay marriage” upon the United States of America? A conservative super PAC, the Campaign for American Values, sets the record straight with a new ad aimed at swing state voters—particularly those who cast a ballot for Obama in 2008.
One morning, a couple in heteronormative America awakes to discover that they’ve made a grave mistake. “Obama is trying to force gay marriage on this country,” says female wife, “that’s not the change I voted for. Marriage is between a man and woman.” Male husband agrees and, with all his masculine wisdom, offers a solution, “We can vote for someone with values.” Like the couple delivering it, the message is simple: Barack Obama doesn’t have American values, and neither do the gays.
