Sandra Bullock And Cate Blanchett Assemble An A-List Squad In New “Ocean’s 8” Trailer

Every con has its pros.

If it seems like we have been waiting for Ocean’s 8, the all-female spinoff of Ocean’s 11, forever—but now, a trailer has finally been released for the future 2019 Oscar winner.

The trailer starts with Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock) being released from prison, but it doesn’t take her long to bring her friends together to concoct a new plan—to steal jewelry at New York City’s star-studded annual Met Gala.

Warner Bros.

The cast is full of nothing but names. In addition to Bullock there’s Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, Mindy Kaling, Awkwafina, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway and Sarah Paulson.

We need an invite to this cast party STAT.

The movie is directed by Gary Ross (The Hunger Games) and produced by Ocean’s Eleven director Steven Soderbergh.

Debbie Ocean is the estranged sister of Danny Ocean (played by George Clooney in the Ocean’s 11 trilogy), but if you look closely you will notice that towards the end of the trailer Debbie makes herself a martini and sips it in front of Danny’s grave. Is he really dead or is this just another con played by the ultimate con man?

It’s been a long, grueling wait, but Ocean’s 8 will hit theaters on June 8, 2018, just in time to take the summer box office season by storm.

Shut up and take our money so we can make Ocean’s Nine happen already.
