Samuel L. Jackson might just be the most invested American viewer when it comes to the Olympics. Producing a long series of some endearingly-enthusiastic tweets, Sam Jackson supports pretty much every sport, giving everyone a fair boost in morale.

Other things you might have missed:

  • In order for Wu Minxia to "not get distracted" from diving practice, her parents revealed her grandparents' deaths a year ago and her mother's breast cancer diagnosis...right after Minxia won gold. One would think champagne would suffice.

  • Logan Campbell, a taekwondo athlete, shared the story of how he overcame debt and was able to pay the $200,000 to compete in the Olympics...by opening his very own brothel (don't worry, they're legal in New Zealand).
