One Direction Releases Their First Zayn-Less Music Video, "Drag Me Down"

At least there's still Louis.

It's been five months since the news first broke that Zayn Malik has decided to leave One Direction, thus messing with the natural order of things and sending fangirls, fangays and Ryan Reynolds into meltdown-mode.

In a note posted to Facebook on March 25 from Zayn and his bandmates, Zayn provided an explanation for his hasty departure, saying "I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight."

One Direction successfully continued on with its 80-city On the Road Again Tour, while Zayn Malik dyed his hair gray...

Retweeted Tweets shading his ex, Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards...

And engaged in Twitter beefs with Calvin Harris.

Now, the four remaining One Directioners are back with their first post-Zayn video for their new single "Drag Me Down."

Filmed at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, the video sees Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson suited up and preparing to travel to space.

Sadly, Zayn will not be joining them, instead staying earth-bound.
