Woman Claims Oprah Told Her To Set Fire To Las Vegas LGBT Center

"They need to pay for their sins."

A Nevada woman arrested for starting a fire at an LGBT center claims Oprah Winfrey told her to do it.


Grewndolyn Glancey, 21, attempted to start a blaze in the lobby of The Center in Las Vegas on Saturday by setting three books on fire.

She was caught after security saw the incident on surveillance video and then found her outside.

When a guard took her into custody, she claimed Oprah told her to light the books on fire because “they needed to pay for their sins.”

Glancey, who is listed as a transient, was charged with malicious destruction of private property and arson.

After being examined a local hospital she was booked and sent to the Clark County Detention Center to await trial.
