"Orange Is The New Black" Already Renewed For Season 3
Everyone's favorite incarcerated cuties will be returning to our televisions early next month, and we couldn't be more excited. But what will happen to the Queens of Litchfield after season 2? We won't know for sure for a while, but we do know that the story will continue past this June's big premiere: Jenji Kohan's Orange Is The New Black has already been picked up for a third season by Netflix!
While stars like Laura Prepon have already hinted at their interest in returning to the show past the upcoming debut, no official confirmation had been given about the fate of the series. Now, by way of Prepon's Instagram account, the team has announced the continuation of the jailhouse drama. "It's official!! Season 3!! #oitnb #alexvause#backtothebighouse," captioned Prepon on the photo, below:
Not much else is known about the third bundle of OitNB episodes. The Huffington Post reached out to Netflix for comment but received only the following message:
I can confirm that the writers are back in the writers room working on season 3.
