Orlando Gay Chorus Performs Moving Tribute To Pulse Victims

The chorus delivered a powerful rendition of "You'll Never Walk Alone."

The Orlando Gay Chorus took the stage at the Gay and Lesbian Association of Choruses (GALA) festival with an emotional tribute to the victims of the June 12 mass shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando.

The chorus performed the Carousel classic "You'll Never Walk Alone" to a packed house of nearly 2,500 at Denver’s Ellie Caulkins Opera House. Halfway through the poignant performance, the chorus members joined hands and invited the crowd to stand and do the same. As they did, many in the audience began to sing along with the chorus.

The moving show of solidarity came at an understandably difficult time for the Orlando Gay Chorus, whose many members are still reeling from the loss at Pulse. Following the performance, the chorus tweeted "Thank you for all of the support! We are ALL ambassadors of love, hope, and change!"
