Orville Peck Serves "Summertime" Sadness in Gorgeous New Music Video

He's feeling his field fantasy!

Queer country crooner Orville Peck may have had to postpone his spring tour due to the coronavirus pandemic, but that hasn't stopped him from releasing some new tunes.

Peck has been keeping busy by treating his fans to livestreams from home, playing acoustic versions of his songs and gabbin' with celeb fans like Margaret Cho and John Waters. During one livestream he debuted his latest single, "Summertime," his first new song since he released his debut album, Pony, a year ago.

On April 1 Peck released the official music video for "Summertime," which shows him feelin' his fantasy in a rolling field—before being swallowed up by a giant plant? He's eventually reborn as a colorful flower cowboy, serving some Midsommar realness. And we are so here for it.

After this depressing spring, "Summertime" cannot arrive soon enough! Check out the gorgeous music video below.
