2015 Oscar Nominations: "The Imitation Game," "Boyhood," "Birdman" Get Big Nods

Oscar nominations in all 24 categories were announced this morning at 8:30am, with Chris Pine and Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences president Cheryl Boone Isaacs announcing nominees in the major acting fields and Star Wars director J.J. Abrams joining Gravity helmer Alfonso Cuarón to announce the technical categories.

As has been the trend in recent years, there was no clean sweep by any particular film, though Boyhood, Bird Man, The Theory of Everything, Foxcatcher and Grand Budapest Hotel all received multiple nominations.

And while it was roundly snubbed at the Golden Globes, the Alan Turing biopic The Imitation Game got its fair share of praise from the Academy, including nominations for stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightly, and director Morten Tyldum.

The British film Pride, about queer activists who rallied behind striking miners in the 1980s, was an odds-on favorite for some love, but walked away empty-handed. (It's still a brilliant film and definitely worth seeing.)

Not exactly the queerest Oscars lineup we've seen—guess we'll have to rely on host Neil Patrick Harris to bring the gay. Below, check out all the nominees in all 24 categories

The 2015 Academy Awards will air February 22 on ABC.
