It's Been A Bad, Bad Day For Oscar Snubees

It has been a bit of a rough time for those folks that just missed out on Oscar nominations. After months of being in the awards conversation, and we mean months, you wake up bright and early to learn that sorry, you will not be up for the biggest award in Hollywood. For two of these folks however, things got much worse today.

It appears that Shailene Woodley will have to follow up her performance in The Descendants with another season of the ABC Family Show The Secret Life of the American Teenager and Young Adult star Patton Oswalt is doing a guest stint on Two and a Half Men. We are so sorry guys.

Since, however, these odd occurrences always come in three, here are our guesses for what may be to come.

  • Kirsten Dunst to reprise role of Torrance Shipman in Bring It On 6: Flat On Da' Mat

  • Lars von Trier to direct three episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles

  • Michael Fassbender has entered the Big Brother House

  • Tilda Swinton to appear as "Mother" in series finale of How I Met Your Mother

  • Leonardo DiCaprio, Titanic 2; Rise Above

  • Charlize Theron, Felicity Jones and Elizabeth Olsen sign on to Kardashian biopic

  • Ryan Gosling to never show face again

    • We shudder at all these thoughts.
