Gay "X-Factor" Contestants Say They Were Kicked Off Reality Show By "Homophobic Bullies"

"They compared me to the devil. They were like 'You’re going nowhere love.'"

An eccentric gay couple who captivated the X-Factor judging panel with a tale of breaking up over uncooked chicken last month claim they were bullied by homophobic cast members of a reality show they previously appeared on.

Ottavio and Bradley have made a career out of appearing on various reality shows in the UK, and have shocked the British public by advancing to the Judge's House round on the current season of the X-Factor, despite not being able to sing very well.

The pair's wild storyline is likely what's keeping them in the game. When Ottavio auditioned as a solo act earlier this month, his performance was hailed by Gay Twitter as one of the greatest in TV history:

Now, Ottavio and Bradley have spoken to The Sun about their 2014 run on Coach Trip, a show where several couples travel across Europe together on a coach bus while voting a new couple off each week.

"Bradley found out that one of the contestants had a WhatsApp group and all the other couples were in it apart from me and Bradley," Octavio told the paper.

"Bradley caught one of them having a conversation and they said ‘Let’s get those two gays out. Let’s get the gays out next.'"

Octavio said he "kicked off" with Coach Trip producers over the abuse but was promptly voted out by competitors before a resolution could be reached.

"The last coach vote I got called horrible names," he said. "They compared me to the devil. They were like ‘You’re going nowhere love’. We have not kept in touch with any of them."

Glad to see they're getting the last laugh!
