Out Goddess Beth Ditto Is Launching A Plus-Size Clothing Line

“This line is by us, for us, period."

Gossip lead singer Beth Ditto, the self-described "fat, feminist lesbian from Arkansas," has announced the release of her latest plus-size clothing line.

It's the second plus-size venture for Ditto, who in 2009 released a line for British fast-fashion chain Evans that featured clothing in sizes 14-32 only.

To launch her latest line, Ditto announced a limited edition t-shirt (retailing for $165) that she designed with her friend and frequent collaborator Jean Paul Gaultier, featuring the designer's famed bullet bra corset (popularized by Madonna during her ’80s "Blonde Ambition Tour.")

“Jean Paul is the most generous, positive person,” Ditto said in a statement. “He truly loves women of all sizes and ages and knows how to make everyone feel gorgeous.”

“Big girls are beautiful and Beth is super beautiful,” Gaultier said. “Long live the beauty with shapes, boobs and bottoms. This is a new concept, a loose fit corset. And Beth fits it perfectly.”

According to a release, the full line will feature "current styling with a vintage flair,” with a focus on “vibrant prints and well-tailored pieces, with silks, rayons and embroidery that are frequently missing from plus-size lines.”

Keep an eye out for Ditto’s full collection this February.
