Pabllo Vittar Is a Club Queen in Music Video for “Super Drags” Theme Song

Feroz!

Pabllo Vittar is one of Brazil’s most popular drag queens—she even has more YouTube subscribers than RuPaul—and now, not only is she a drag queen, she's a super drag!

In a new music video the Brazilian superstar performs "Highlight," the theme for the new Netflix animated series, Super Drags, about a trio of superhero drag queens.

In the video Pabllo throws the club into a frenzy as she starts off as a cartoon queen before transforming into a real life dancing pop diva before the club goers' very eyes. The clip also features the Super Drags themselves—but they aren't voiced by Trixie Mattel, Ginger Minj, and Shangela like they will be when the series hits Netflix in the U.S.

Pabllo performs the theme song and will make an appearance in the series, along with two other popular Brazilian drag queens, Silvetty Montilla and Suzy Brazil.

According to the description, Super Drags follows three department store workers who have to deal with their uptight boss by day, but by night they transform into superhero drag queens, “ready to combat shade and rescue the world’s glitter from the evil villains.”

Not much else is known about the series, produced by Brazil-based Combo Studio, but the site, CosmoNerd, shines a little more light on the project, revealing that the three queens’ names are Lemon Chiffon, Cran’s Sapphire and Crimson Scarlet.

Netflix

“We are thrilled that our first Brazilian animation will present our audiences with the daring, scandalous and fabulous world of Super Drags! Netflix is fortunate to invest in great animation talent from Brazil, bringing the vibrant trait of Combo and the acidic mood of our producers to the beautiful and the canvases from every corner, “said Chris Sanagustin, Netflix’s Director of Original International Content.

Check it out for yourself when Super Drags hits Netflix November 9.
