The coordinator for the Trans Action Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa in Peshawar, Pakistan was shot eight times last night, but was left untreated in a nightmare situation at the hospital due to being transgender.

Alesha, also written as Ali Sha in other reports, was allegedly shot by a criminal group known for extorting money from transgender people because she wouldn't agree to perform in pornographic videos with them.

But when she entered Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar in critical condition, she reportedly waited there untreated for over an hour while they decided whether to bring her to the male or female ward.

Alesha was reportedly first taken to the male ward, despite Trans Action's request to have her treated with females.

After more protesting by the group, she was moved to the female ward, until patients there began to complain that Alesha was being treated near them.

“We really don’t know what to do and where to go," the group painfully declared on their Facebook page.

Meanwhile, her friends who were waiting at the hospital with her began to experience mistreatment and harassment as well.

"A doctor wants to know how much I charge for dance for a night and another health technician wants to know if I only dance or also perform sex," the friend wrote on Facebook.

Eventually, Alesha underwent surgery, but when she was out, the doctors had no bed for her in the ICU.

Six hours later, the group posted to Facebook saying she still had not received medical attention after her surgery, and she was just on a stretcher in a corridor of the hospital.

Finally, the group of trans activists had to give up and rent a room at Bolton Block, which is usually only purchased by politicians or government officials, in order to receive treatment.
