We stumbled across Italian tenor Paolo Fanale while surfing Youtube, and thank the muses we did: In a rehearsal video featuring the 33-year-old tenor and the Orchestre de Paris performing Rossini's Stabat Mater, Fanale eschews formal attire in favor of a t-shirt that barely covers his guns.

Born in Palermo, Fanale's a rising talent who's graced the the Metropolitan Opera, La Scala, Opera de Paris, Covent Garden and just about every other acclaimed opera house.

Sure he's got matinee-idol good looks, but he's got the pipes and stature to back it up.

We need to get to the opera more often!
