While streaming a video over Periscope last weekend, a conservative pastor recounted the story of a gay bar owner being "cured" of homosexuality after eating a cake prepared and prayed over by Christians.

Pastor Lance Wallnau described the incident after he received a comment from a concerned viewer who said she needed prayers to deliver her gay son from sin.

According to the pastor, a group of "hookers" who used to hang outside a local gay bar were saved by a fellow patron who'd found Christianity. Together, these individuals "baked a cake for the owner of the bar, who was gay and very adamantly anti-Christian" and prayed over it that he would stop being gay.

“It was an anointed cake,” Wallnau said, “and they made the cake and gave it as a gift. And when he ate the cake... the power of God hit him.”

After being touched by the "presence of God," the man was allegedly baptized, at which point "the spirit that was working him got broken off," leaving him straight.
