Pastor: I'm Fine With Same-Sex Marriage—If You Put A Bullet Through Their Brains

"Im not against them getting married, as long as a bullet goes through their head the moment they kiss."

A pastor in New Zealand says he's fine with same-sex marriage, so long as the couple is murdered after the ceremony.

In a sermon first posted on YouTube, pastor Logan Robertson of Westcity Bible Baptist Church in Auckland, shared his shocking view on marriage equality.

"My view on homo marriage is that the Bible never mentions it!" Robertson explained. "So I’m not against them getting married, as long as a bullet goes through their head the moment they kiss."

“Because thats what [the Bible] talks about," he added, "not homo marriage, but homo death. There’s no such thing as homo marriage. It’s not even marriage anyway."

Marriage equality came to New Zealand in 2013, but Robertson says gay couples being murdered "is what should happen."

"But we’ve got Christians who would rather side with them, with their cute little fag cousin or brother or whoever it is, than with Christians who actually preach against it.”

The clip has since been taken down by YouTube for violating the platform's policy on hate speech, which Robertson agreed it was.

“Of course it is," he told the New Zealand Herald. "Does it sound like hate speech to you? If the world thinks that’s hate speech then that’s fine.”

Robertson insists he wasn't encouraging his parishioners to shoot LGBT people, but he wishes the government would.

“It’s got nothing to do with me [if someone decides to kill gay people]. They could read that verse in the Bible. I’m not inciting vigilantes. I believe it’s the government’s job.”

In other sermons, Robertson has called homosexuals "dogs" and claimed women shouldn't have the right to vote. In one video, he suggested Labor Party leader Jacinda Ardern "needs to shut up, go home, and get in the kitchen where women belong, and bake a cake for her boyfriend."
