Is it too early to start watching Christmas videos? Absolutely.

Does that rule still apply if the video is of Patti LaBelle's hilarious struggle with a plethora of problems during a Christmas performance from twenty years ago? Absolutely not.

In a #FlashbackFriday video that will have you howling, the superstar diva is performing at the White House's National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in 1996 when everything seems to go wrong.

While trying to sing "This Christmas," LaBelle shouts that "it's the wrong words on the cue cards and I don't know the song" while simultaneously screaming for her missing backup singers.

The result is comedy gold, as Patti continuously rolls her eyes and serves stank face while trudging through the song without actually singing any lyrics.
