Paul McCartney And Emma Stone Jam At Alan Cumming’s New Gay Cabaret Club

I saw her (and him) standing there.

Nightlife impresario Daniel Nardicio and actor Alan Cumming promised all kinds of only-in-New-York magic when they opened their East Village venue, Club Cumming, last week.

And last night they proved they were true to their word, as Sir Paul McCartney and Oscar winner Emma Stone joined Alan on stage for a little singalong.

The former Beatle, who was performing in town, hit the club wearing a “I saw Paul McCartney in Brooklyn” t-shirt, while Stone went high-low in a revealing pinstripe dress and sneakers.

Don’t they make an adorable pair?

The alt-cabaret space evolved out of the late-night soirees Cumming would host in his dressing room while performing in Cabaret alongside Stone.

In addition to impromptu celebrity drop-ins by folks like Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen, Club Cumming will host DJ nights, jazz performances, book release parties, tantric sex workshops—even knitting sessions.

Cumming describes his collaboration with Nardicio and Benjamin Maisani (owner of space when it was gay bar Eastern Bloc) as “a home for everyone of all ages, all genders, all sexualities, who all enjoy letting go and making some mischief.”
