Pedro Pascal made his debut on Game of Thrones last night, playing bisexual Oberyn Martell, a sexy but dangerous Dornish prince seeking vengeance against the Lannisters.

Oberyn is fairly badass—he's nicknamed the Red Viper because of his habit of dipping his blades in deadly poisons—and he wants to destroy the Lannisters for raping and butchering his sister.

But he's also sexually progressive: Game of Thrones producer David Benioff says the Dorn prince has "got the swagger—he’s smart, he loves his family, and he’s sexual in all sorts of ways."

Indeed, on Sunday's premiere, Oberyn is in a whorehouse, picking out new sex partners. Just as he's about to procure the harem's twinky manager, though, he gets drawn into a fight.

According to the Game of Thrones wiki, Oberyn is pansexual in George RR Martin's books:

Oberyn has a lined face with thin eyebrows, black "viper" eyes and a sharp nose. His hair is lustrous and black with only a few silver streaks and recedes from his brow into a widow's peak.

It is rumored that he has sexual relations with his squires when Ellaria is unavailable. It is not unusual for lords and ladies in Dorne to be openly bisexual, due to the relaxed attitude towards sexuality among the Dornish.

Below, watch Pascal's debut in the Season 4 trailer.
