Beyonce's talent in singing was first recognized at St. Mary's Elementary School, when her dance teacher was humming a song and Beyonce finished it powerfully. Beyonce started out in the singing group, Girl's Tyme, but several girls were dropped and the name was changed to Destiny's Child. They found worldwide success but took a hiatus in 2002, when Beyonce released her solo debut, Dangerously in Love. It reached number one on the Billboard 200 and the lead single, "Crazy in Love," contributed further to rumors that Beyonce and Jay-Z were dating because it featured his rapping. The two remained discreet and married in 2008. After releasing the hit albums B'Day and I Am... Sasha Fierce, Beyonce announced she was taking a break in 2010. A year later she released her fourth album, aptly titled 4 and showcased her pregnant belly at the MTV Video Music Awards. In 2012 she gave birth to her daughter, who they named Blu Ivy Carter.
