Born in Carmarthen, Wales, Iwan Rheon began his flourishing acting career at the age of 17 on a Welsh soap opera. Soon to follow, he began honing his acting and singing skills in the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. In 2009, Rheon landed a role as Moritz Steifel in Spring Awakening, which led to winning the 2010 Olivier Award for "Best Supporting Performance in a Musical/Entertainment" for his character's portrayal. As the show came to a close, he immediately picked up the role as shy yet intelligent Simon Bellamy in the UK's hit television series Misfits.
Aside from acting, Rheon ventures into the world of music, crediting Radiohead and Oasis as his top two influences. With two EP's under his belt, Rheon is in the process of working on a full length album. HIDE
