Originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan Jay grew up in a big family on a small farm.  He's a successful bar entrepreneur who has consulted, opened and managed multiple establishments in Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware, and recently Shanghai. The ultimate LGBT ally, Jay moved to Los Angeles several years ago and has since opened several businesses including; "66" Restaurant and Bar on Sunset Boulevard, West Hollywood landmark and trendsetting Fubar,  Saint Felix in West Hollywood and a second Saint Felix location in Hollywood.  Within the family, Jay's role is the peacemaker who tries to maintain sanity in his extremely blended and extended household.  He's the voice of reason that balances "Big Lou's" old world ideals, guides Louis as a young adult and helps Dotsie adjust to LA, all while working on his businesses and being a great husband to Michel.
