Johnny Weir discovered his passion for ice skating when he was 12 years old; his parents supported him by moving to Newark, Delaware so he could be near his coach. In high school he was on the honor roll and he attended the University of Delaware before dropping out to devote his time to skating. In 2008 he was presented by the United States Figure Skating Association and Skating Magazine the Reader's Choice Award for Skater of the Year. He is a three-time U.S. National Champion and two-time Olympian, and his glitzy and glamorous costumes are as fun to see as his skating. In 2011 he married Georgetown Law graduate Victor Voronov in New York City, and he will be competing in this year's Olympics. HIDE
